FINAL COMMENT
About a day after my climb I suddenly discovered when I woke up that I had suffered sunburn to the backs of my hands and ears which was severe enough for all my skin to peel off in the most ghastly way within a week. I realized it was the result of taking off my gloves and cap above the 7th station when I met the lost boy on my descent and not putting them on again. A stupid mistake on my part. Stay covered up and use suntan cream for protection at ALL times.
Have a great time on Fuji !
