A Guide to Climbing 2002
by Richard Wicks,Tokyo

Welcome ! This guide provides some useful information on trekking up to the summit of Mount Fuji during the summer months. There are several trail combinations which can be used to both ascend and descend Mt. Fuji, but perhaps the most popular, cheapest and easiest to access is the Kawaguchi-ko trail close to Fuji Yoshida City and nearby Lake Kawaguchi on the NorthEastern side of the mountain. If you have at least a day and a half to spare why not try an exhilarating climb of Japan’s most famous mountain !
